Healthy relationship with food and Nutrition protocol

Satisfaction after eating | Tools and knowledge for nutrition | Personalized nutrition | Treatment for cravings | Overcoming guilt

  • The moment I use the word "guilt" and feel a sense of guilt, towards anything really, but in the context of Ayurvedic treatment, let's say guilt related to food or unhealthy lifestyle. I find myself in a whirlwind of bodily and conscious reactions triggered by the initial feeling of guilt, creating a whole reality of guilt that prevents me from returning in a balanced way to a healthy eating pattern or lifestyle.

Guilt automatically creates within me a duality of two characters, the first Character is the police officer - the one who made the decision "I won't let you eat terribly like this anymore", and the second is the rebel, the counter to the police officer who doesn't want to be controlled. This means that the next time I see food, these two voices will clash. The police officer who wants to control me and the rebel, who if she/he gives the rebel a small crack, she will probably enter some form of eating binge because maybe next time she sees food, the police officer won't allow her to eat at all. and this scenario continues to fuel the cycle of guilt, perpetuating the duality and the conflict between these two characters.

This is one of the reasons why Ayurveda is a guiltless therapy. So, how do we break free from this cycle? Ayurveda has practical tools to help us cultivate a healthy and harmonious relationship with food by adjusting nutrition, eating habits, lifestyle, and daily routine, which includes mantras, diet, habits and other practical tools to help us feel satisfaction from eating and calm down the cravings.

  • To gradually create a healthy eating routine that will suit the patient in the long term.

To strengthen the connection to sensations and feelings of satisfaction and appetite.

To feel healthy satisfaction after eating, so that we are not naturally driven by cravings.

To cultivate a healthy and harmonious relationship with food, with ourselves, and with the environment.

  • For those who feel disconnected from sensations of appetite and satisfaction.

For those who snack instead of having proper meals.

For those who want to change their diet but lack the tools and knowledge.

For those with uncontrollable cravings for sweet or salty foods.

For those who feel guilt after eating.

For those who associate food with stress.
