Where did I study

I began learning about Ayurveda while studying yoga in India

I completed my diploma studies in Australia with a teacher from the traditional stream of Charaka Samhita

The school called ‘Byron Bay Ayurveda College’ run by Prof. Jason Chandler and Etsuko Ohira.

prof. Jason Chandler is an Ayurvedic lineage holder that was born in Tibet and studied Ayurveda his whole life with lineage masters in the north of India.

At the school, we learned through ancient texts in Sanskrit that he directly translated.

There was nothing new-agey, trendy, or sophisticated about this school. It was very traditional, humble, and uncompromising

Today, I am in India, continuing my studies with a local Ayurvedic doctors.

My connection to holistic health

he world of traditional and alternative medicine, and the connection of body, mind, and soul, accompanied me from a young age while experiencing health difficulties and diseases that Western medicine could not help me with, such as Helicobacter pylori, liver disease, candidiasis, various digestive problems, chronic fatigue, and an unhealthy relationship with food. I was almost completely disconnected from feelings of appetite and abundance.

My desire and passion for true healing led me to delve deeply into health and the connection between body and soul. I discovered Ayurveda during a yoga teacher training course in India. It was the first time I received real answers to the questions that were within me, and I felt that the picture was slowly becoming clearer.

In addition to being an Ayurvedic therapist, I completed a yoga teacher training course, and today I practice Yin Yoga.

What led me to study Ayurveda

From a very young age, I had an unexplained attraction to Indian culture. I wore clothes to school that my brother bought me from India, and I was fascinated by the stories of my brother and others who returned from India. I loved the music, the colors, the pictures... India was already my ultimate destination in the world from elementary school.

Another thing that happened from a very young age was my corner of experiments in my parents' old house. I turned the attic into a corner of potions and experiments, imagining myself as a doctor concocting all sorts of natural remedies, mixing herbs and spices, and offering these remedies to friends from the neighborhood.

I believe that the connection of these two things from a young age ultimately took me to India, where I discovered yoga and through it Ayurveda.

Five reasons I strongly believe in Ayurveda

It is the most comprehensive and holistic medicine I know, encompassing all aspects of life.

The lineage of teachers of my teacher have lived to be over 100 years old in robust health.

It is the oldest medicine in the world, and even in a lifetime, I could never grasp all the knowledge and insight that Ayurveda has to offer.

I have healed and continue to heal from everything I wanted to heal from, and I learned how to develop a healthy and harmonious relationship with food and my body through Ayurveda.

I found answers to questions I had for years through Ayurveda, and I am still discovering more and more. It seems like it will never end.
