Hydration Remedies
MAAND:
Maand is an Ayurvedic remedy that provides hydration and nutrition. Rice water with added ginger, cumin, and salt can help improve digestion and provide essential vitamins and minerals.
Ingredients:
0.25 cup of well washed white or brown basmati rice
3.5 cups of clean water
Pinch of rock salt
Pinch of ginger powder
Pinch of cumin
Instructions:
Cook the rice in the water until it is very soft.
Wait for the rice and water mixture to cool down to room temperature.
Strain the rice and drink the water mixture.
Add the pinch of rock salt, ginger powder, and cumin to the mixture before drinking.
